Recipe compare — September 24, 2026

You can now put two recipes side by side to see exactly which settings differ, making it easy to spot what separates a variant from its original or one look from another.

Similar recipes — September 24, 2026

Recipe pages now show a Similar Recipes section, ranked by how close their settings are. When you upload a recipe that doesn't match an existing one exactly, we suggest the closest matches, and if you're publishing a variant the closest recipe is filled in as its source automatically.

Recipe versioning & variants — September 11, 2026

Authors can now publish an update to a recipe as a new version, or offer an alternate take as a variant, instead of only ever replacing the original. Recipe pages show a version history with earlier versions linked up, and older versions are tagged with a "Superseded" badge on browse cards.

Ko-fi donation banner — September 10, 2026

A small donation banner now appears as you scroll the home page, for anyone who wants to chip in a coffee to help keep the site running.

Basic Mono support — September 9, 2026

Recipes built from the camera's Monotone picture mode are now recognized as Basic Mono, with their own card styling and browse filter, alongside Creative Mono.

Basic Color support — September 7, 2026

Recipes built from the camera's Color picture mode are now recognized as Basic Color, with their own card styling and browse filter, alongside Creative Color.

Mobile upload improvements — September 3, 2026

Uploading from a phone got smoother: preview thumbnails now build from the photo's embedded EXIF preview and rotate to match its orientation, and EXIF parsing runs in the background so the page stays responsive on large files.

Recipe comments — August 27, 2026

You can now leave comments on a recipe. Recipe owners and anyone else in the thread get notified when a new comment comes in.

Notifications — August 22, 2026

Added a notification bell with an unread count, an optional daily digest email, and a preferences page so you can control what you're notified about.

Mono profile support — June 23, 2026

Full support for monochrome (black & white) recipes shipped, including parsing, fingerprinting, and a dedicated filter-ring display for Creative Mono profiles.
