By accessing or using OM Recipes (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site. These Terms were last updated on May 11, 2026.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction) to create an account or submit content. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile information up to date.

2. Ownership of user content

"User Content" means any recipes, images, photographs, metadata, descriptions, comments, links, and other materials that you upload, submit, post, or otherwise make available through the Site. As between you and OM Recipes, you retain all right, title, and interest in and to your User Content, including all intellectual property rights. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your User Content to OM Recipes.

You represent and warrant that (a) you own your User Content or have all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to submit it and to grant the license set out below; (b) your User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other proprietary rights; and (c) your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3. License you grant to OM Recipes

By submitting User Content to the Site, you grant OM Recipes a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as resizing, transcoding, and formatting), create derivative works of (for example, thumbnails and previews), publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating, providing, promoting, and improving the Site. This license continues for as long as your User Content is hosted on the Site, and terminates within a reasonable period after you or OM Recipes remove the User Content from the Site, except to the extent that copies have been shared with others who continue to use them under this license or to the extent OM Recipes is required to retain copies to comply with legal obligations.

You acknowledge that the Site is a public, community-oriented platform and that other users and members of the public will be able to view, download, and share your User Content through features made available by the Site. You agree that you submit your User Content voluntarily and without any expectation of compensation, attribution beyond what the Site provides, or confidentiality.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload, post, or transmit any User Content that: (a) is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy; (b) contains personally identifying information about another person without that person's consent; (c) infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other proprietary right of any party; (d) contains software viruses or any other code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware; or (e) constitutes unauthorized advertising, spam, or any form of solicitation.

You also agree not to (i) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or related systems; (ii) interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site; (iii) use automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect content or information from the Site except as expressly permitted; or (iv) use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.

5. Content removal

You may request removal of any User Content you have submitted at any time, for any reason or no reason, by using the contact form. Please identify the content clearly (for example, by recipe title, URL, or upload date) so that we can locate it. OM Recipes will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove requested User Content from the Site within a reasonable period after receiving your request. You acknowledge that copies of the User Content may persist in backups, caches, or in copies obtained by other users prior to removal, and that OM Recipes is not responsible for content distributed by third parties outside its control.

OM Recipes also reserves the right, but is not obligated, to remove, edit, or refuse to display any User Content at its sole discretion, with or without notice, including User Content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6. Copyright and DMCA

OM Recipes respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that material on the Site infringes your copyright, please submit a notice through the contact form including: (a) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (c) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner. We may terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

7. Account termination

OM Recipes may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time as described in our Privacy notice. Upon termination, the license you granted to OM Recipes will continue to apply to copies of your User Content that remain on the Site until removed in accordance with Section 5.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OM RECIPES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS, OR THAT ANY USER CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL OM RECIPES, ITS OPERATORS, OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SITE OR ANY USER CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT OM RECIPES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OM Recipes and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your access to or use of the Site; (b) your User Content; or (c) your violation of these Terms or any third-party right.

11. Changes to these Terms

OM Recipes may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. If a revision, in our sole discretion, is material, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you. By continuing to access or use the Site after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

12. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and OM Recipes regarding the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
