Note the white balance shift to Blue. The Base White Balance configuration applies a deliberate blue-weighted luminance bias prior to monochrome conversion.This is a critical adjustment. While black-and-white imagery contains no color information in its final form, digital sensors generate luminance through the weighted interaction of red, green, and blue channels. Adjusting white balance at this stage directly influences how the TruePicX processor constructs the values before the image is rendered as monochrome.
